About Dr. Dunn
Dr. Nicholas Dunn—known affectionately to his patients as Dr. Nick—is dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized dental care with a compassionate touch. Known for his warm demeanor and commitment to patient comfort, Dr. Dunn believes that every individual deserves to feel confident in their smile and heard in their care. Whether you’re coming in for a routine visit or more advanced treatment, his goal is to make sure you feel right at home.
Dr. Dunn’s journey into dentistry began with a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. For him, there’s no greater privilege than building long-term relationships and helping patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile they’re proud to share. He is deeply passionate about continuing education and constantly surrounds himself with top professionals and training opportunities to expand his knowledge. He is currently enrolled at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, WA, where he will graduate in 2026 with advanced training in comprehensive, evidence-based dental care.
Education
Dr. Dunn earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, where he served as class president all four years and received the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award for his exceptional leadership and service. He also holds both an undergraduate degree and a master’s from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. With a strong focus on cosmetic and functional dentistry, Dr. Dunn has completed numerous continuing education courses in treatment planning and stays current with the latest techniques and technologies to ensure his patients receive the best care possible.
Outside the office, Dr. Dunn enjoys life with his wife Stephanie and their son Aksel. The Dunn family recently relocated to Texas from Windsor, Ontario, and are proud to call San Antonio home. Faith, family, and community are core values in Dr. Dunn’s life. He’s an avid sports fan and enjoys running, golf, baseball, and hockey—especially when shared with close friends and family.
